With LEAF, councils can explore their Tree Ledger directly in the browser.
Analyse parks, corridors or activity centres.
Track canopy cover against local and state targets with live, reliable data.
Use the hex map to identify hotspots of canopy gain or loss.
Filter by land use, age, or height to see where trees are growing, declining, or being removed.
Compliance Alerts.
With each update of the Tree Ledger we will provide the LGA with an alert system to all the properties where trees that require planning permit under clause 52.37 have been removed. These can compared to existing planning permits, reports on each case will consist with measurements of the removed trees, before and after photography.

Urban forests are shaped by climate, rainfall, and human decisions – planting, maintenance, and removal. LEAF simplifies this complexity, turning the Tree Ledger into an interactive map, as easy to use as Google Maps.
Councils can click on any tree to view its data, compare areas, filter by attributes like height or land use, and generate tailored reports. Our flagship analysis suite integrates tree, land use, and environmental data into dashboards that scale from the whole city down to a single tree.
